The Wheatfield Lions recently accepted a number of pediatric cancer Lego brick kits from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute for distribution to area child cancer patents.
“Roswell has asked us if we could provide these kits to be given free to children fighting cancer,” Lion Walt Garrow said. “During their process, there is much time in both waiting for treatment, as well as occasions of treatment that takes time. These kits are enjoyed by the children, and they help them pass the time.”

Senior breakfast

“Over 100 came and enjoyed their breakfast at our Ward Road Club House,” Garrow said. “Also, the Town of Wheatfield just sent in a check for $1,000, for disasters relief, specifically to help address the impacts from the two recent Southeastern hurricanes.”
The motto for Lions Clubs is "We Serve.” Wheatfield Lions service areas include: blind, diabetics, hunger, environment, pediatric cancer, disaster relief, humanitarian needs and youth.
