Press Release
Today, the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, in partnership with the Erie County and Wendel Companies – architect and engineer of record – launched a public comment form, seeking public input on the organization’s proposed expansion project.
Individuals with questions or comments about the project can provide feedback online through the form between Oct. 23-30.
The latest renderings, completed by Wendel Companies, showcase key elements of the project, including the reimagined main entrance, the west elevation facing South Park Avenue, and the proposed full site plan. The project involves over 14,000 square feet of renovated space and more than 16,000 square feet of new construction. The new building will feature a relocated, accessible visitor entrance; state-of-the-art classrooms for education; modern event spaces; an expanded gift shop and other amenities.
