Press Release
Five-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan kicked off the album launch for “Mind Of A Country Boy” this morning with appearances on “Good Morning America” and “GMA 3: What You Need To Know.” Bryan performed two songs from the new album, “Love You, Miss You, Mean It” and “Country Song Came On.”
During his visit with “GMA,” Bryan read the popular “Pop News” segment, where he revealed the hosts of the 58th Annual CMA Awards (airing Nov. 20 on ABC) will be himself, Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson.
“Hosting the CMA Awards is such an honor, and it’s crazy when I realize this is my fourth year back,” Bryan said. “Peyton and I have really worked to build off each other, and now adding Lainey to the mix will just bring another fun element to the night. Celebrating country music never gets old to me.”
“I am honored to be back hosting the CMA Awards again this year,” Manning said. “The past two years have been a lot of fun, and I know Lainey is going to bring a special flare. Hopefully she can help me keep Luke in line! Either way, I’m excited for an incredible night of celebration and country music.”
“I could not be more excited to host the CMA Awards this year with Luke and Peyton,” Wilson said. “It’s such an incredible honor and something I’ve always dreamed of doing. We’re planning a really great show for y’all, so make sure to watch on Nov. 20!”
While in New York for “American Idol” taping days, Bryan is also slated to perform on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” this Wednesday.
Over the weekend, Bryan wrapped his 15th “Farm Tour” with a final concert in Smithton, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night. More than 100,000 fans have attended the tour each year since its inception in 2009. Bryan continues to give back to the farmers by awarding college scholarships to students from farming families who are attending the local college or university near the tour stops. To date, 84 scholarships have been granted.
Presenting sponsor Bayer joined the tour in 2015 and again teamed up with Bryan to help celebrate America’s farmers and fight hunger through its #HerestotheFarmer campaign. The campaign supports Bayer’s vision of “Health for All, Hunger for None,” and asks fans across the U.S. to share the hashtag #HerestotheFarmer on their social media channels to show their gratitude to America’s farmers. Through Oct. 31, for every share, Bayer will provide one meal to a person in need through Feeding America, with the goal of helping to provide 1 million meals. Since the partnership’s inception, 9 million meals have been donated to Feeding America member food banks.
Building on a long history of donating vitamins and other nutritional supplements to the Feeding America network of Food Bank partners, this year, Bayer will also donate over 100,000 bottles of One A Day and Flintstones Multivitamins, as well as other nutritional supplements, to food banks in the U.S.
Bryan spoke with Forbes recently about his focused efforts throughout his career to reach and make fans by creating special concert events that give them unique ways to see him in concert, and going to them where they are. Through his 15 years of “Farm Tour,” spring shows, “Crash My Playa” and his Resorts World Las Vegas residency, Bryan has diligently worked to present different show environments for the fans.
In celebration of Farm Tour 2024, 30-plus farms nationwide are honoring Bryan with corn mazes. While navigating the maze, guests will look for clues and play an interactive game quizzing them on how well they know their favorite country artist, Bryan. Participants will enjoy photo opps and music along the way. Collectively, the farms – designed by The MAiZE Inc. – will reach more than a million visitors during the fall season. See some here.
