Pets, and their owners, are invited to Falkner Park in Youngstown for a special blessing at noon Sunday, Oct. 6. The Rev. Barbara Price of St. John’s Episcopal Church will mark the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, with this special event.
Organizers said, “If your pet is not able to be present at the blessing of pets, you may bring a digital or print image of your pet.”
