Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced a Niagara County jury returned a guilty verdict in the case against Time Thomas Jr., age 30, of Buffalo, Tuesday morning. Thomas was found guilty of all 10 counts in the indictment against him, including criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, aggravated driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child, and drug possession charges.

Seaman said, “The defendant, a two-time prior felon, was passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle in the middle of River Road with a loaded gun under his leg, cocaine and fentanyl in the vehicle, a BAC of .14%, and an 8-year-old child in the backseat. I am pleased that the jury returned this common-sense verdict."

The case was investigated by the New York State Police and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Mattie Davis and Vehicular Crimes Bureau Chief Christine Savoia. Thomas faces up to 23 ½ years when he returns to court to be sentenced by Supreme Court Justice Mario Giacobbe on Dec. 3.
