The busy Troop 829 B Scouts from Youngstown and surrounding areas are on the road again: After a 31-hour train ride across America, they arrived in Cimarron, New Mexico, to spend the next 12 days – and over 80 miles – on a trail, backpacking thought one of the Boy Scouts of America’s premiere high adventure camps, Philmont Scout Ranch.
Organizers said, “Our small but fierce band would not have been able to embark on such a huge endeavor if it wasn't for the support of the Youngstown Lions Club, and Niagara County Legislator Irene Myers.”
