Obituary: Maureen Dolores Duffy

Maureen Dolores Duffy, age 64, of Buffalo, formerly known as Maureen D. O’Rourke, passed away on July 11, 2024, at Erie County Hospice.

The daughter of Raymond P. and Dolores N. Duffy (both deceased), she is the loving mother of Sally (Joseph) O’Rourke Rosso of Staten Island and Hannah D. O’Rourke of Buffalo. She is the dearest grandmother of Evelyn Rosso. The sister of Terry and Mary Natalie Duffy, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Maureen retired after following a 30-year career as a pre-K instructor for the Buffalo Public Schools. She later worked as a studio assistant for Elliot Landy Fine Art and Interactive Music Vocals of Woodstock, New York.
