Press Release
It's that time of year again! Lewiston's favorite night of music, the “Summer of ’69,” will be rolling into town at 7 p.m. Friday, July 12, in Academy Park. Hang loose with Lewiston's own 1960s rock musicians as they reunite for a far-out, free concert of favorites from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.
"We are so grateful and happy to welcome these wonderful performers once again," Lewiston Council on the Arts Executive Director Maria Fortuna Dean said. "They are all donating their time and talents so that our community can share in a fantastic night of music."
The concert will feature the Summer of '69 Band, comprised of Kevin Toohey, Tom Pieroni, Chuck Scrufari, Vanik Aloian, Brandy Scrufari, Gouv Cadwalder, Frank Fracassi, Abigail Nashwinter, Victoria Duncan, Rick Delzoppo and John Lynch; as well as County Orphanage: Tim Walton, Ray O'Keefe, Patrick Sciarrino, Mark Oliphant, Robert Johnson, David Mokhiber, Eric Weinholtz and Rip Westmoreland; and The Invaders: Gary Baker, Neil Nicklas, Tom Pieroni, Chuck Scrufari, Keving Toohey and John Lynch.
