Summer has just started, and things are already getting hotter at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. The region’s premier gaming and entertainment resort destination announced today that R&B superstar Trey Songz will perform in the Seneca Niagara Event Center on Friday, Aug. 9 (8 p.m.). Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, June 28.

Songz is one of the most dynamic R&B artists today. From the release of his 2005 debut album, “I Gotta Make It,” he has been thrilling fans with his tenor vocals and unmistakable style for nearly two decades. Songz’s first six albums all reached the Top 20 on the Billboard 200 charts with 2012’s “Chapter V” and the 2014 follow-up, “Trigga,” both debuting at No. 1. His extensive list of hit singles includes “Girl Tonite,” “Can’t Help But Wait,” “Say Aah,” “Bottoms Up,” “Heart Attack” and “Slow Motion.”

Songz has earned several accolades for his work, including three Grammy Award nominations, along with multiple Soul Train Music Award, BET Award, American Music Award, Billboard Music Award, and other nominations. To date, his eight studio albums have sold more than 25 million copies worldwide. In addition to his successful music career, Songz has appeared in several feature films and television programs.
