Press Release

Today, Grammy, CMA and ACM Award-winning singer/songwriter Carly Pearce releases her eagerly awaited fourth studio album, “hummingbird,” via Big Machine Records. Blending traditional country sounds with deeply personal storytelling filled with honesty and wit, “hummingbird” showcases Pearce’s transformative journey through loss and growth.

Listen to the 14-track album here. It marks Pearce’s debut as a co-producer alongside frequent collaborators Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.

“ ‘hummingbird’ is a deeply personal journey filled with heart, soul, and a good dose of humor,” Pearce said. “The process of creating this album was me reconstructing the way I see love and the way I see myself. From facing heartbreak, falling in love again, and gaining confidence, I've learned to embrace every part of my story. I hope this record resonates with anyone on a healing journey, showing that, through vulnerability, self-discovery and therapy, things can truly get better. It's OK not to have everything figured out; happiness can be found in the process. I hope ‘hummingbird’ resonates with everyone who listens and inspires you to find strength in your own journey."

Following her critically acclaimed third studio album, “29: Written in Stone,” which dealt with personal turmoil, “hummingbird” marks Pearce’s emergence from the storm – stronger than ever. The new album highlights her rebuilding process and newfound joy, drawing inspiration from the hummingbird's symbolism of healing, hope and resilience.

Featured on the album is the Grammy-nominated, Gold-certified lead single “we don’t fight anymore” featuring Chris Stapleton, which is Top 10-bound on the country radio charts and has already amassed more than 190 million streams. The stirring single also recently took home Collaborative Video of the Year at 2024 CMT Music Awards.

Following today’s album release, Pearce is gearing up for a jam-packed Sunday in Nashville during CMA Fest, where she will perform on the Nissan Stadium main stage at approx. 9:50 p.m. Ahead of the performance – and in the true spirit of CMA Fest – Pearce is giving her fans the ultimate access with the opportunity to shop her closet at the third annual “Carly’s Closet: hummingbird edition,” which will take place from 2-4 p.m. at the Music City Center. This year, the pop-up shop will feature handpicked items of clothing, shoes and accessories from Pearce’s personal collection for purchase – benefiting the CMA Foundation – plus double as a special album celebration featuring an acoustic performance and album signing. Earlier that day, Pearce will also stop by the CMA Fest Close-Up Stage for a live taping of the “Country Heat Weekly Podcast” on Amazon Music for a full day of CMA Fest activities.

The “hummingbird” release celebrations continue throughout the month as Pearce will make multiple television appearances to perform new tracks from the dazzling album on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” (NBC) on June 10, “The Kelly Clarkson Show” (NBC) on June 13, and “Good Morning America” (ABC) on June 24.

Pearce is currently connecting with fans across North America as direct support on Tim McGraw’s “Standing Room Only” arena tour through June 29, and international fans can see her on her upcoming headlining “hummingbird” 2025 U.K./E.U. tour, kicking off Feb. 9 in Stockholm, Sweden. The 14-city tour includes stops in Oslo, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Amsterdam, London and Manchester, concluding Feb. 28 in Dublin. For dates and details, visit CarlyPearce.com.
