At approximately 2:15 a.m. Saturday, June 1, Niagara Falls Police Department patrol responded to a report of an argument/disturbance at 1333 Vanderbilt Ave. While patrol units were en route, it was learned that there may have been a stabbing incident at that location. Upon arrival, police located an unresponsive male on the floor. Niagara Falls Fire Department and AMR responded to the scene to provide lifesaving measurers to the male, and he was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for further treatment where he was later pronounced deceased.
Two people of interest who were in the residence at the time of the incident were taken to police headquarters for interviews and were later released pending further investigation.
No names are being released currently, as this is an active and ongoing investigation.
