Banditland, get ready to meet your world champions!
Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino will welcome members of the back-to-back National Lacrosse League champions Buffalo Bandits for a special meet-and-greet from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 6. Bandits players Chris Cloutier, Ian MacKay and Chase Fraser will be in attendance, along with members of the Bandettes. Fans will also be able to take their picture with the NLL Cup championship trophy.
“We are so grateful to have a strong, longstanding partnership with the Bandits, and to be part of the excitement both of our teams generate here in the heart of downtown Buffalo,” said Marc Papaj, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino general manager. “We’re excited to bring the NLL Cup to Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino for our patrons to see, and we look forward to giving the players a real heroes’ welcome on June 6.”
After beating the Georgia Swarm in a single-elimination quarterfinal game in Buffalo, the Bandits moved on to sweep a best-of-three semifinal series against the Toronto Rock to earn the team’s fourth consecutive trip to the NLL Finals, where they faced the Albany FireWolves. The Bandits took the opening game in Albany, 12-8; and then returned home to Banditland to secure the championship with a 15-13 victory in front of a sold-out crowd at KeyBank Center, just blocks away from Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino.
