Niagara Falls police respond to shots fired

At 1:37 p.m. Friday, Niagara Falls Police Department patrol units were dispatched to 2489 LaSalle Ave., for a report of shots fired. 

Upon arrival, officers found three victims of gunshot wounds. Officers secured the scene and began treating injuries until the Niagara Falls Fire Department and AMR arrived. All three victims were taken to ECMC. One victim sustained a life-threatening injury and underwent surgery. The other two are considered non-life threatening.

 The victim’s names are not being released at this time. This investigation is ongoing.
