First District Niagara County Legislator Irene Myers visited the Town of Porter this week to present Niagara County Community Partnership program funding to a number of recipients in the Youngstown River Region. Beneficiaries include the Village of Youngstown concert series, $500; the St. John’s Episcopal Church Strawberry Festival, $500; the Youngstown Free Library and Ransomville Free Library, $1,500 each; and the Youngstown Historical Society and Ransomville Historical Society, $250 each. Community funding awards were also presented to the Town of Porter Recreation Department/Summerfest and to the 3F Conservation Club.
