YMCA Buffalo Niagara has announced its 2024 “Strengthening Community Gala” is planned for April 26 at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo.
“YMCA Buffalo Niagara is one of the area’s oldest and largest nonprofits working to strengthen our community. We are excited for this opportunity to celebrate our YMCA’s life-changing work and to raise vital funds to grow and support our mission impact,” said Danielle Roberts, vice president of community impact for YMCA Buffalo Niagara.
This premier event kicks off at 6 p.m. and includes complimentary cocktails, dinner, auctions and live entertainment. Additionally, the Ken-Ton School District will be presented with the Stewart Partnership Award for its commitment to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in partnership with the YMCA. The prestigious YMCA Gold Key Award will also be presented to an outstanding YMCA volunteer who exemplifies the values and mission of the YMCA.
A press release stated, “All proceeds of the gala go to the Y’s efforts to strengthen the community of Western New York. Tickets are on sale now at www.YMCAGala.org.”
