Has anyone ever told you that you’d make a great school board member?
The Niagara Orleans School Boards Association is offering a free workshop on Saturday, March 16, for anyone interested in running for a board of education position or learning more about the process.
The workshop will be held at the North Tonawanda High School Library, 405 Meadow Drive. It will run from 9-11 a.m. Guest speakers will include attorney Jeff Swiatek (Hodgson Russ LLP), who will speak on the school board election process; and North Tonawanda Superintendent Gregory J. Woytila, who will address building a productive working relationship between the board and the superintendent.
