Last month, the City of Niagara Falls introduced a $558,000 Bridge District Small Project Fund. The City of Niagara Falls received funding from New York State’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) to support the program. A map of the Bridge District DRI boundary can be found on page 2 of the application.
Property owners within the Bridge District DRI boundary are eligible to apply for up to $100,000 to fund exterior and interior building renovations. Residential rehabilitation of upper stories may be granted an additional $10,000 per dwelling unit, up to $150,000 (maximum). A 50% match is required for projects.
Applications can be found on the City of Niagara Falls' homepage (https://niagarafallsusa.org/building-improvement-fund-application/). They may be submitted to the City of Niagara Falls to the attention of the Department of Planning & Environmental, 745 Main St., Niagara Falls, NY 14301; or emailed to [email protected].
