On Thursday, Dec. 14, Niagara University and M&T Bank will co-host an event in support of minority- and women-owned business startups in the Niagara Falls community. The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. in the Russell J. Salvatore Dining Commons on the Niagara University campus.
Residents of Niagara Falls interested in starting their own business or looking to network are encouraged to attend. Individuals can register by calling 716-286-8322.
"We strongly believe that small businesses are the backbone of our local economy and provide tremendous value," said Karen Kwandrans, associate vice president of strategic and external relations at Niagara University. "Events like these, shining a spotlight on minority- and women-owned startups, are so important for our community. This will be an evening of inspiration and meaningful connections for those looking to take the leap into business ownership. We aim to nurture an inclusive environment where all entrepreneurs have the resources they need for success."
The event will feature a panel of local business owners in Niagara Falls, as well as resource tables featuring representatives of organizations supporting small businesses. This networking session will allow attendees to connect with others passionate about supporting startups in our community.
