Congratulations to the students from the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center, who were recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. Out of all the high school students in the U.S., the National Technical Honor Society students who receive this honor comprise 1.6% of that population.
For staff at the Orleans/BOCES center, they represent the four pillars of the National Technical Honor Society: scholarship, leadership, service and character.
The students were honored in front of their teachers, families and school district representatives. The students had to maintain an 89.5 grade average in their career and technical education programs and an 84.5 average at their high schools; have superior attendance; exemplary behavior; be a member in good standing with SkillsUSA; and have a recommendation from a faculty member.
Congratulations go to: K’Andre Adams (emergency medical services/Niagara Falls CSD), Lucas Andrzejczyk (emergency medical services/Niagara Falls CSD), Justin Burns (electricity/electronics/Lewiston-Porter CSD), Bridget Cake (health occupations technician/North Tonawanda CSD), Aubriana Cristiano (graphic communications/Wilson CSD), Lexa Cummings (cosmetology/Lewiston-Porter CSD), Kerriann Cyganovich (animation, film and visual effects/Niagara Wheatfield CSD), Noah Czerwinski (welding/North Tonawanda CSD), Joseph Donovan (computer technology/Wilson CSD), Nicholas Drabinski (electricity/electronics/North Tonawanda CSD), Joseph Fedder (animation, film and visual effects/Starpoint CSD), Wyatt Frerichs (automotive technology/Lewiston-Porter CSD), Zachary Hanna (welding/North Tonawanda CSD), Andrea Harris (culinary arts/Niagara Falls CSD), Kaity Hersee (culinary arts/Starpoint CSD), Jace Johnson (computer technology/Starpoint CSD), Jason Kinder (electricity/electronics/Niagara Wheatfield CSD), Madelyn Krieger (security/law enforcement/Wilson CSD), Charles LaGreca (HVAC/Barker CSD), Franklin Leible (building maintenance/management/Niagara Wheatfield CSD), Brayden Lepsch (electricity/electronics/Wilson CSD), Lily Lubs (electricity/electronics/Lockport CSD), Cameron Madigan (web and game development/Niagara Falls CSD), John Mahar (electricity/electronics/Wilson CSD), Evelyn Majewski (electricity/electronics/Niagara Wheatfield CSD), Oliver Maslowski (web and game development/Lockport CSD), Aubrey Monroe (emergency medical services/Lockport CSD), Benjamin Moore (computer technology/Niagara Wheatfield CSD), Gwendolyn Moran (animation, film and visual effects/North Tonawanda CSD), Abigail Nichols (early childhood education/Niagara Falls CSD), Conor Peck (automotive technology/Wilson CSD), Elyssa Pennell (diesel technology/heavy equipment/North Tonawanda CSD), Kylee Russell (animal science/North Tonawanda CSD), Amya Sanger (web and game development/Lockport CSD), Adara Scarantine (animal science/Niagara Academy-Lockport CSD), Jacob Schultz (diesel technology/heavy equipment), Madelyn Scott (cosmetology/Lewiston-Porter CSD), Alyssia Seguin (animal science/Niagara Wheatfield CSD), James Sorge (HVAC/Niagara Wheatfield CSD), Braden Striffler (computer technology/Niagara Falls CSD), Angel Suarez-Cruz (emergency medical services/Lockport CSD), Mason Sullivan (web and game development/Starpoint CSD), Luke Walck (diesel/heavy equipment/Niagara Wheatfield CSD), Sarah Warner (early childhood education/Christian Academy of WNY), Matthew White (security/law enforcement/Wilson CSD), Emma Wilkesmore (early childhood education/Lewiston-Porter CSD), Amanda Woleben (early childhood education/Starpoint CSD), Jack Worral (computer technology/Starpoint CSD) and Rianna Wyno (early childhood education/Lewiston-Porter CSD).
