The First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston will host a family-friendly service project that kids of all ages can do with their families.
On Nov. 12, those participating will make handmade Thanksgiving and Christmas cards for veterans and local families in need. The event will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the church, and lunch will be served. This family mission project will be held on the second Sunday of each month.
On Friday, Nov. 24, a popular new event – “Kids Night Out” – will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the church. Kids and their friends are invited to join in play time, pizza, Advent crafts and games. They will enjoy fellowship time, supervised by Sunday school teachers. Parents and adult family members or friends can enjoy some adult-time only during the same time period. To register, visit https://forms.gle/CpbFvwcb4PrgbUwA7. Walk-ins are also welcome.
The church is located at 505 Cayuga St., and is handicapped accessible. Parking is available on the street or in a large lot behind the church. The church and events are open to all.
