The Buffalo Warriors Veteran sled hockey program will host a tournament at Northtown Center at Amherst from Oct. 27-29.
A press release noted, “The ‘Buffalo Warriors Sled Classic’ tournament will see our VA WNYHS veterans face off against teams from across New York state, including the Fort Drum Mountain Warriors, CNY Flyers and the Buffalo Sabres sled hockey team.
“The Buffalo Sled Vets team is a partnership between VA Western New York Healthcare System and the Buffalo Sabres organization with the goal of providing our veterans with the opportunity to participate in disabled hockey.
“Join us for the start to the Sled Vets season as they face off against the Buffalo Sabres!”
