The College Confidence Coach is officially expanding to Rochester.

Located in Williamsville, The College Confidence Coach offers an all-inclusive college planning program that provides a suite of services extending far beyond paring a student with the right college.

The College Confidence Program led by academic coaches, utilizes The Internal Self-Validation Method, a process of self-discovery used to enhance college decision-making. The method helps students make the best college choice via self-discovery and belief identification.

The steps include: discovery (What makes you, you?), strategies (Where should you go?), solutions (What should you say?), plan-launch (What’s your decision?), continued coaching (How are things going?), and CC finance connoisseur (all matters related to the financial aid process).

Discovery finds the “what” and “why” behind every high school student to best help guide them into higher education. Once this is complete, time is spent not only discussing major and university possibilities, but also career possibilities. After which, application assistance and financial navigation guidance occurs. Coaching also continues the first year of at the selected school to ensure well-being.

The original coach and founder at The College Confidence Coach is Evan Giokas. During his academic journey, he went through three transfers and changed program multiple times until ultimately graduating from Niagara University with a bachelor’s degree in business communications. Then, while talking with and mentoring high school seniors, he saw the opportunity to create the program available today to help navigate young adults through their first major life decision.

Giokas also is the co-founder of MGM Coaching and was named one of the Top-10 Male Coaches Transforming Lives by Yahoo Finance in 2021.

Giokas shared he is “excited for this new venture” and “this expansion is exciting for many reasons, but the most prominent is the fact that, with another office and more coaches, the company will be able to reach and empower even more students with internally self-validated decisions regarding college and beyond.”

The new location is set to open in early 2024, as staff is solidified and coaches are trained in the company’s proprietary discovery and strategies processes.
