Students from the fourth and eighth grade classes at Holy Ghost Lutheran school recently visited Elderwood Nursing Home. Students brought companionship to the elderly residents, as well as pumpkins and cards to decorate the facility.
The school uses community service projects like this to encourage kindness and instill values of compassion and empathy for senior citizens in their community. This event was hosted, in part, by the eighth grade Honor Society students of Holy Ghost Lutheran School.
