Boy Scout Troop 829 of Youngstown and The Ontario House announce the inaugural “The Haunted Jug” fundraising event.
This special, Halloween-themed evening is set for 5-10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at 358 Main St. Youngstown. A $20 donation includes a ghost tour (up to 10 minutes), plus a “spooky snack buffet” or cocktail (choice is made when ticket is purchased).
Tickets are available at The Ontario House (aka The Stone Jug) and from Troop 829.
Organizers said, “The event will include a ghost tour through several rooms of the Jug and a choice of a snack buffet or cocktail. Patrons will learn some fascinating history about the Jug while encountering some frights!
“Proceeds from the event will support Scouts BSA Troop 829 and their Scouting activities. The troop is very civically active in Youngstown and neighboring communities, frequently partnering with the Lions Club, VFW and many other organizations. Service is a critical component of the Scouts’ BSA mission.
“We ask that you kindly consider supporting this event, whether it be by selling tickets at your business, displaying the flier or making a donation.”
