“Continuing its commitment to make a significant investment to Niagara County nonprofits,” Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union surpassed expectations for its first-ever Cornerstone Community Day held on Aug. 19. Hosted at the Kenan Center, the event brought families out to have fun and support local community businesses and organizations.
On Aug. 31, checks for $12,000 each were presented to representatives of the Kenan Center and Niagara Hospice.

He said, “Kenan Center is grateful for the opportunity to host such an incredible community event with Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union. Providing safe, affordable, engaging activities for community members of all ages is part of Kenan’s mission. Community Day was a brilliant example of what can happen when like-minded organizations work together to lift Lockport.”
Cornerstone Community Day was free to attend and included food for purchase, basket raffle tickets, games, company sponsorships, and vendors and nonprofits to visit, all to benefit Kenan Center and Niagara Hospice.
