AAA Western and Central New York is hosting an exclusive Medicare open house event called “Mapping Your Medicare Journey” on Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. to noon at the organization’s headquarters, 100 International Drive, Amherst.

Whether someone is already enrolled in a Medicare plan, ready to retire, or working past age 65, this event will offer guidance for every step in the process. Choosing the right Medicare plan can be a complex and crucial decision. Navigating the Medicare process alone can be difficult, and it can be time-consuming. AAA advisers and representatives from various insurers will be on hand to answer questions. Registration is optional, but encouraged.

In addition to valuable insights and expert advice, AAA has a special token of appreciation for all attendees. As a thank you for visiting the open house, attendees will receive a complimentary set of AAA packing cubes, while supplies last. These packing cubes help travelers stay organized and prepared for future adventures!

Anyone interested in attending any AAA Medicare workshops online can sign up at www.AAA.com/Events, or call AAA at 855-862-6651 for more information. Events will also be held in Rochester and in Syracuse in September.

Bring along a friend or family member who may also benefit from this event. This “Mapping Your Medicare Journey” open house will be a valuable experience to all attendees and will aid in navigating the many options of Medicare coverage.

Each person’s seven-month initial enrollment period (IEP) begins three months before their 65th birthday month and ends three months after. It’s important that everyone understands how their own situation may impact enrollment deadlines to avoid costly penalties. AAA licensed insurance agents can help. Learn more at AAA.com/Medicare.
