New York state announces $34 million for 196 public library construction projects

As a part of the statewide series of funding awards, Niagara Falls Public Library has received two grants from New York state in the amount of $124,901. The funds will go toward renovations for both library branches.
Niagara Falls Public Library, located at 1425 Main St., will get $122,171 for the installation of ADA auditorium seating (affixed to graduated sloped flooring), and new carpeting to dampen the acoustics in the auditorium.
Niagara Falls Library LaSalle, located at 8728 Buffalo Ave., will receive $2,730 to replace the ADA door opener on the parking lot side of the library.
Repairs might begin as early as late 2023 or in early 2024.
