Recently released ‘STRONG: The Muscle Shoals Session EP’
Country music singer/songwriter and “The Voice” season 19 finalist Ian Flanigan is excited to return to his roots in upstate New York where he will open for Parker McCollum and Larry Fleet. He takes the stage Thursday, Aug. 17, in the Artpark Mainstage Theater in Lewiston, and Saturday at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse.
After his success on “The Voice,” Flanigan continues to tour the country. He recently released an EP, “STRONG: The Muscle Shoals Sessions.” In July, CMT premiered the video for “Under A Southern Sky,” the second single from “STRONG.”
"Celebrating campfires, backroads and good times are what it's all about," Flanigan said.
He has consistently released fan-favorite singles such as “Grow Up” featuring Blake Shelton (over 2 million streams and climbing), “Last Name On It” and “Under A Southern Sky,” showing not only his versatility as a singer but as a songwriter, as well. Recently featured by American Songwriter, Cowboys & Indians, Fox News, KTLA, Music Mayhem, Sounds Like Nashville, The Music Universe, and more, Flanigan continues to relate to everyone he encounters, one listener at a time.
More About Ian Flanigan
Slow, stoic, southern grace is how Ian can be accurately described. He is humble yet focused, peaceful but engaged, and undisputedly talented. For the last decade, he has toured his distinct voice and evocative lyrics across America, with a country sound reminiscent of Joe Cocker and Chris Stapleton.
Ian found fame by becoming Blake Shelton’s finalist on NBC’s “The Voice,” where he was dubbed a “once-in-a-lifetime vocalist” by Shelton. Since that time, he has released an album with chart-topping singles (“Grow Up” reached No. 5 on the U.S. iTunes sales chart with well over 3 million streams), extensively toured with the likes of Trace Adkins and Chris Janson, and will release his sophomore album, with more singles and videos being released soon.
Ian represents Taylor Guitars, Denon, Picklejar, Lucchese, and KICKER AUDIO; gains exposure as a Reviver Publishing writer in Nashville; and released his debut album, “Strong” (2022), and the follow-up acoustic EP, “STRONG: The Muscle Shoals Sessions” (2023), on Reviver Records.
