Press Release
On Friday, award-winning songwriter and worship leader Tiffany Hudson released her solo debut, “Hidden Here.” A member of the Grammy Award-winning group Elevation Worship and a worship leader at Elevation Church, Hudson is behind songs such as “Graves Into Gardens” and “More Than Able,” many from the Grammy-winning project “Old Church Basement,” among others. Listen to “Hidden Here” everywhere here.
Tiffany Hudson never dreamed of having a solo artist career, but it was when she felt an invitation from the Lord in early 2022 that she even considered releasing her own songs.
“After a season of what felt like a creative drought, I began to sit down at my piano and felt the Lord begin to download songs and themes,” she shared about the process of making her first solo project. “This began a personal journey of sitting with him, writing, co-writing, and desiring to present the things he placed in my heart. It’s always a humbling experience to try and pen God’s wonder. It’s a weight and a responsibility to put confessions in other people’s mouths to say to God. ”
Hudson sings, ““I’m gonna break the bottle // I’m gonna pour it all out // I don’t waste what’s spent on You // Even if they call me crazy // You’re the one who saved me // I’ll never waste what’s spent on You,” in “Break The Bottle.”
“Hidden Here” was produced by Josh Holiday, Bubele Booi and Jason Ingram. The eight-song project also features special guest appearances including worship leader Steffany Gretzinger on “Break The Bottle,” which they co-wrote together; Mitch Wong and Joe L Barnes join Hudson on “Togetherness,” a song the trio wrote two years ago about a cry for unity in an often-divided culture. Other co-writers on the project included Amanda Cook, Jason Ingram and Josh Holiday.
