New York State Sen. Sean Ryan announced his office is seeking nominations for the New York State Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame Class of 2023. His team said, “The Hall of Fame was established in 2005 to honor and recognize outstanding veterans from the Empire State who have distinguished themselves both in military and civilian life.”
To be considered, an individual must be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces residing in New York’s 61st State Senate District (which includes parts of the cities of Buffalo and Tonawanda; the towns of Amherst, Grand Island and Tonawanda; as well as the villages of Kenmore and Williamsville).
To nominate a veteran for this honor, submit a 350-word biography and a high-resolution photograph to [email protected] by Friday, Aug. 18.
