Bear's Den Showroom to welcome 54•40

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is doubling up on the entertainment excitement with a pair of two-night performances at The Bear’s Den Showroom in September.

The popular 54•40 takes the stage on Friday, Sept. 8, and Saturday, Sept. 9 (8 p.m.), followed by the comedic talent of JR De Guzman on Friday, Sept. 22, and Saturday, Sep. 23 (8 p.m.) as part of the “Barrel of Laughs” comedy series. Tickets go on sale at noon this Friday, June 23.

54•40, an acclaimed Canadian alternative-rock band, has built an impressive and successful career spanning more than 30 years. Formed in British Columbia, the band has an outstanding catalog of hits that resonate with their dedicated fan base. 54•40 is known for such hit singles as "Baby Ran," "Ocean Pearl," "I Go Blind" and “One Day in Your Life,” among others. The band has garnered eight Juno Award nominations, four certified Platinum albums, and ranks as one of the top-selling Canadian bands in Canada. Tickets start at $45.

JR De Guzman started his comedic journey as a music teacher in California. Today, he performs on stages around the world, leaving audiences in tears with his songs, jokes and stories. On stage, De Guzman seamlessly blends the universal language of music and song into his act. His infectious charm has helped him delight audiences from North America and Europe to Indonesia, Japan and beyond. In addition to his touring performances, De Guzman, who was recognized with the "New Face" award at the prestigious “Just for Laughs” comedy festival in 2017, has made numerous television appearances, delivered a comedy special on Netflix, and recorded a hit debut comedy album.
