The Council for Older Adults (COA) in Niagara County, in collaboration with D’Youville School of Pharmacy, invites all Niagara County residents to attend a free brown bag medication checkup event from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 31, at Shawnee Volunteer Fire Co., 3747 Lockport Road, Sanborn.
Event organizers said, “Please bring in your brown bag all prescription medicines (including pills and creams), over-the-counter medicines taken regularly, vitamins, supplements, and herbal medicines.
“You will receive a free medication consultation with a D’Youville School of Pharmacy student who will review all your medications with you, and you will leave with an updated medications list. A licensed pharmacist will also be present to answer any of your questions.
“There will also be free blood pressure screening and you will receive a free FILE of LIFE magnet kit.”
While this is a free event, registration is encouraged. Contact Heather Culverwell at 285-8224, ext. 215, or email [email protected].
