Obituary: Michael Anthony Casero

Michael Anthony Casero, 43, of Niagara Falls, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2023.

Born in Lewiston, he was the son of MaryRose (DiMino) Casero and Gerald “Jerry” Casero.

Mike was a graduate of the former LaSalle Senior High School. He attended St. John Fisher University and obtained his associate degree from Buffalo State College.

Mike was a bowling pro shop specialist and a talented ball driller. He began his own business at a young age and went on to work at Bowl-a-Drome for several years. Most recently, he was employed by Instacart. 

Mike was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and an excellent bowler. He cherished the time spent with his children, especially at the playground and the aquarium. 

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his fiancé, Melissa Driscoll and their beloved children, Gwendolyn and Jocelyn Casero; his siblings: Gerald “Jerry” Casero Jr., Catherine (Jonathan) Hoerner and Nicole (fiancé Bryon Paynter) Casero; his nieces and nephew: Chase and Rosalie Hoerner, and Madison Paynter; his dog, Nola; as well as by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Monday, June 12, at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will follow at 6 p.m.
