COBRAZ will make special guest appearance at The Screening Room
The Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, in collaboration with The Lucille and Jack Yellen Foundation, has announced a special performance of musical ensemble COBRAZ. The group received the 2022 Yellen Foundation’s Scholarship as a performing group/ensemble.
The performance will take place Wednesday, June 14, in an all-star jam from 7-10 p.m. at The Screening Room located at the Boulevard Mall in Amherst. Admission is $5 per person and is open to the public, with all ages welcome.
The Lucille and Jack Yellen Foundation Young Songwriter’s Scholarship awards two songwriters between the ages of 13-18 with cash prizes, opportunities to be mentored by Buffalo Music Hall of Fame inductees, free enrollment in music business workshops, and opportunities to perform at BMHOF music events in the area. Songs are judged equally on originality, lyrics, melody and composition. Finalists in the categories of single/solo performer and ensemble/band performers are chosen by a committee comprised of Buffalo Music Hall of Fame board members and inductees.
