The tulips may only just be in bloom; however, fans can look forward to an enchanting evening during the holiday season with “Sarah Brightman: A Christmas Symphony” at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 23.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 12, at https://www.ticketmaster.ca. For more on the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino, visit www.fallsviewcasino/OLGStageatFallsviewCasino.
International singing superstar Brightman is the world’s best-selling soprano. She pioneered the classical crossover music movement and is famed for possessing a vocal range of over three octaves.
In 1981, Brightman made her musical theater debut in “Cats” and met composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. She went on to star in several Broadway musicals, including the world-renowned “The Phantom of the Opera,” where she originated the role of Christine Daaé.
Brightman is the only artist to have simultaneously topped the Billboard dance and classical music charts. Her voice has rung out from theaters, arenas, cathedrals, world heritage centers and Olympic stadiums, bringing to life some of the world’s most beautiful music.
“This is a must-see performance,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing for Niagara Casinos. “Brightman has a special gift and unique ability to connect with her audience. We are excited for our guests to experience her incredible vocal ability and range in our state-of-the-art OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino.”
