Structure fire in Wilson

On May 8, at approximately 7:05 p.m., the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received multiple 911 calls reporting a possible residential structure fire at 23 Joshua Drive in the Town of Wilson. It was advised that heavy smoke was coming from a manufactured home in the Rainbow Mobile Home Park.

Responding fire companies confirmed it was a working fire, with heavy smoke and flames emitting from the structure. A female occupant within the house escaped without injury. The fire was subsequently extinguished by members of the following responding fire companies: Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co., South Wilson Volunteer Fire Co. and Sanborn Volunteer Fire Co.

There was no estimate on damages available. No injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire is being conducted by the Niagara County Origin and Cause Team.
