The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that Route 62, Niagara Falls Boulevard, will have a lane closure in the Town of Tonawanda to facilitate emergency drainage repair. The right lane on southbound Niagara Falls Boulevard will be closed between Interstate 290 and Willow Ridge Drive beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday, May 6, and will remain closed until the repair is completed on Tuesday, May 9.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
