Amherst Memorial Chapel is partnering with the American Heart Association and the 3 For Heart CPR Challenge. The one-hour class and cardio pulmonary resuscitation training is set for 6 p.m. Monday, April 24, in the community room at 281 Dodge Road, Amherst. While attendees will learn how to do CPR, it is not a certification class.

The class is free, but attendance is limited, so anyone wishing to attend must register. Email [email protected]. Donations to the American Heart Association are suggested.

Organizers stated, “Statistics show that people seeking to learn CPR have tripled since Buffalo Bill Damar Hamlin collapsed from cardiac arrest during a game.”

Amherst Memorial Chapel is a full-service Jewish Funeral Home that was built specifically to accommodate all Jewish practices, whether Orthodox, Traditional, Conservative, Reconstructionist or Reform. It is the only funeral home in Buffalo with a Mikvah for the traditional Tahara.
