Niagara County Legislator Irene Myers announced Windsong Mobile Mammography will host an event at Heritage Manor of Ransomville on Monday, April 24, to conduct breast cancer screening. Appointments must be scheduled with Windsong prior to the event.
“Windsong Mobile Mammography has been a great partner with Niagara County in bringing their mobile unit right into our community to make it as easy as possible for women to get this screening done,” Myers said.
The event will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Heritage Manor of Ransomville located at 3509 Ransomville Road. To request an appointment, call Windsong at 716-929-9494 or visit https://windsongwny.com/radiology/mobile-screening-mammography/.
Windsong’s Mobile Mammography Unit accepts all major insurances. However, if one does not have health insurance, they may be eligible for a mammogram at no cost. Call Windsong for more information.
“Too often, women have so much on their plate that they do not make their own health care a priority,” Myers said. “But as a breast cancer survivor, I know that early detection is the key to battling breast cancer. So, take advantage of this opportunity right in your backyard, and schedule today.”
