Since 1966, the Lewiston Art Festival has attracted visitors and art lovers from Western New York and Southern Ontario, as well as international visitors from Niagara Falls. Each year, this juried art show brings 25,000 visitors to the heart of the picturesque and historic Village of Lewiston.
Organizers said, “The work of exceptional artists is showcased in a wide range of both fine and fine craft categories. Cash and ribbon prizes are awarded to artists in seven categories (painting, graphic arts, mixed media, photography, ceramics, jewelry, fiber/metal/wood), plus Best Booth Display and Best of Show.”
This year the Lewiston Art Festival will be held Aug. 12-13. Applications for all artists and vendors are done entirely online through Zapplication (ZAPP). Find more, and apply on the website for the Lewiston Council on the Arts, at www.artcouncil.org. The application deadline is April 1.
