Tickets go on sale Friday

One of the biggest draws from the original “Tuesdays in the Park” concert series, rock band Styx will perform at the Artpark Amphitheater on Friday, June 2. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

A press release stated, “The six men comprising Styx have committed to ‘Rocking the Paradise’ together with audiences far and wide, averaging over 100 shows a year – and each one of them is committed to making the next show better than the last. Styx draws from over four decades of barn-burning chart hits, joyous singalongs and hard-driving deep cuts.”

For more than four decades, Styx has been a radio staple with songs such as "Lady," "Come Sail Away," "Babe" and "Too Much Time on My Hands."

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, March 17. General admission (carry-in chairs and blankets permitted) is $20, while front-of-stage (standing-room-only) tickets are $59, and reserved seating (chairs provided) is $79. Prices include a facility fee. Additional charges apply for online orders. Ticket prices increase by $5 starting May 28.

Tickets will be available for purchase online at ticketmaster.com, or at the Artpark box office (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays) at 450 S. Fourth St., Lewiston.
