The Ice at Canalside, presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York, will be closed today due to forecasted rain and snow for the majority of the afternoon and evening.

“While this is not the start we wanted to our final skating weekend, we feel with the significant rain and snow coming it is the right call to make and begin preparations to open Saturday,” said Lauren Moloney-Ford, general manager of Buffalo Waterfront.

Skate admission, skate rental and curling are all free to the public. Curling will be first-come, first-served, and available for reservation in the Upstate Honda Dealers Admission Pavilion. There will be no bumper cars.

√ Saturday, March 4: Public skate hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

√ Sunday, March 5: Public skate hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
