Shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday morning, Niagara Falls police were contacted by an adult male that stated that he had just been the victim of an armed robbery in the area of 10th Street and Ferry Avenue. The victim stated that he had been struck in the head with a hammer, as well as having a gun pointed at him while he was being robbed of property.
The victim was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and then transferred to ECMC for further treatment.
At approximately 8:15 a.m., Niagara Falls Police Department criminal investigation division detectives and the NFPD emergency response team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1000 block of Ferry Avenue regarding this robbery. During that search warrant, three suspects were taken into custody, and evidence was recovered.
The three suspects are facing charges of robbery in the first degree and are due to be arraigned in Niagara Falls City Court on Monday morning.
The identities of those arrested are not being released at this time, due to an ongoing investigation.
