G.I.V.E. Patrol Arrest
At 9:30 p.m. Friday, Niagara Falls police arrested a 23-year-old male after a vehicle pursuit. Upon stopping him, the suspect tried to run on foot, but was ultimately caught. While running, the suspect discarded a bag that contained ammunition.
NFPD conduct these G.I.V.E. (Gun Involved Intelligence Eradication) patrols through state grants on a regular basis to combat gun violence.
NFPD Narcotics Search Warrant
Also yesterday, the NFPD narcotics intelligence division executed a search warrant on Niagara Falls Boulevard at 101st Street. During the search warrant, police recovered 41.9 grams of fentanyl, 16 grams of crack, 1.4 grams of meth, .9 grams of cocaine, 33 Xanax pills and more than $3,000 in cash.
Charges are pending on the suspect.
