Shortly before 2 a.m. this morning, the Niagara Falls Police Department responded to a motel in the 9800 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard for a report of a woman stabbed. Upon arrival, officers found the body of a deceased 39-year-old female in one of the rooms.
During the course of the investigation, officers located a 36-year-old male that was known to the victim and had been with the victim in the same room.
Detectives have charged that male with one count of murder in the second degree. He was arraigned this morning in Niagara Falls City Court and was held in custody until his next court date, which has not yet been scheduled.
