The Lewiston Democratic Committee is seeking potential candidates interested in running for office in the 2023 townwide elections.

This year, elections will be held for town supervisor, town highway supervisor, Town Board member (two, four-year seats), town clerk and town justice (two, four-year seats). In addition, there are two Niagara County Legislature seats, which in part cover Lewiston, and which are also up for election in 2023.

Those interested in running for any of these offices are asked to submit a letter of interest, including any relevant background/work experience. In order to meet deadlines for the passing of nominating petitions, letters of interest should be submitted no later than Feb. 3 to the committee by U.S. mail sent to P.O. Box 155, Lewiston, NY 14092; or via email to [email protected].

Any questions about the petition process, for those who may be interested in running for office, can also be emailed to the same email address.
