Early Saturday morning, the Niagara Falls Fire Department was called out to a structure fire at 431 20th St., around 2:30 a.m. Crews arrived on scene to find heavy flames coming from the building.
All nine occupants, including children, were found outside, where they were checked out by AMR ambulance before being taken to the hospital for further evaluation. No one appeared to have any serious injuries. One firefighter was injured on scene, but the injury is not life-threatening.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
