December session will focus on coronavirus resources and help for the holidays
Are you or a loved currently dealing with coronavirus or the aftereffects of COVID-19? Catholic Health is hosting a free monthly support group for survivors, loved ones and caregivers. The next session will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, 2950 Elmwood Ave.
This group, led by medical and social work professionals, was established in 2021 to help those impacted by COVID-19 address concerns, access helpful resources, and connect with others to share their similar journeys.
The December session is titled, “COVID Resources and Help with the Holidays.” Melissa Archer and a crisis counselor from the Buffalo Urban League/NY Project Hope will describe the local services provided by their organization in collaboration with Project Hope and also share what services are in development. This will be followed by a group discussion on issues related to the holiday season.
