The Lewiston Garden Club met at the Red Brick School on Monday, Nov. 14. During the meeting, members prepared new holiday wreaths for use on Center Street lamp posts. The club helped purchase the new wreaths from funds raised by GardenFest. New bows for the wreaths were prepared by Kathy Opera and Marianne Gittermann.
At 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, members will descend on Center Street for the “Hanging of the Greens.” Winter beautification leads Tasia Fitzpatrick and Susan Hofert encourage any willing volunteers to join Garden Club members as they hang wreaths on the fences on Center Street.
