On Nov. 15, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office deputy assigned as the school resource officer at the Starpoint School District received a report of a possible threat of violence at the school. After an investigation by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Bureau, a juvenile student who attends Starpoint Middle School was charged with one count of making a terroristic threat (a D- felony).
The juvenile was released to the custody of his parents and given a future date to appear at Niagara County Probation.
A press release said, “Starpoint school officials worked cooperatively with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office to ensure the safety of all students and faculty.”
